Suction Control Valve - Nissan Patrol GU Y61 ZD30CR
Fitted to the fuel pump, the Suction Control Valve (SCV) manages fuel pressure within the common rail system. This little valve is crucial for smooth engine operation. Over time, and especially in vehicles with poor maintenance history or with fuel contamination issues, the SCV can become failed and fail.
A failing SCV can lead to rough idling, surging, poor fuel economy, and even result in the vehicle entering limp mode.
