Fan Blade TD42 95mm / 134mm - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ

Fan Blade - Nissan Patrol GQ Y60 TD42 95mm / 134mm

This engine fan blade is located at the front of the engine, mounted to the viscous fan clutch. It is a crucial component of your vehicle's cooling system, designed to draw air through the radiator to dissipate heat and maintain optimal engine operating temperature.

Over time, the plastic construction of the original fan blade can become brittle from constant heat cycles. This can lead to stress cracks forming, especially around the base of the blades. It is essential to inspect your fan blade regularly and replace it at the first sign of damage or aging.

Failure to replace a cracked or damaged fan blade can have catastrophic consequences. If a blade breaks off while the engine is running, it can be propelled at high speed into the radiator, causing severe damage. This can also destroy hoses, belts, and even the bonnet, leading to sudden coolant loss, engine overheating, and a very expensive repair bill.
