Genuine Nissan Air Filter Pre Cleaner - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ

Genuine Nissan Air Filter Pre Cleaner - Y60 GQ Patrol

This Genuine Nissan Air Filter Pre Cleaner is located in the air intake system, attached to the main air filter housing. Its purpose is to catch larger contaminants such as insects, leaves, and heavy dust before they get to your primary air filter. The original pre-cleaner can become brittle from heat and age, causing it to crack or fall apart. A failed pre-cleaner allows this larger debris to go straight to your main air filter, blocking it up much more quickly. This can lead to a drop in engine performance, increased fuel consumption, and premature wear of the main filter.
