Genuine Nissan Console Lid Stopper RH - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU

This is a genuine Nissan right-hand (driver side) console lid stopper, designed for the centre console of the Nissan Patrol Y61 GU series. It is located on the inside of the console and is responsible for controlling how far the lid opens, preventing it from flipping back too far and causing damage to the hinge.

A common sign of failure is a console lid that opens too far or feels loose, and you might hear broken pieces rattling inside the console assembly. Replacing a broken stopper with a genuine part restores the correct function and feel of your centre console lid.

Product Features

• Genuine Nissan Quality: Manufactured to OEM specifications using high-grade, durable plastic for a perfect fit and long service life.
• Restores Lid Function: Prevents the centre console lid from over-extending, protecting the hinges and surrounding trim from damage.
• Direct Replacement: Designed as a direct swap for the original factory part, ensuring no modifications are required for installation.
• Built for Australian Conditions: Made from materials designed to withstand tough interior temperatures, resisting the premature failure common in inferior aftermarket copies.

Replacement is a straightforward job that can be done with basic hand tools. Access is gained by opening the centre console lid. While you have the console apart, it is highly recommended to replace the left-hand (passenger side) stopper at the same time, as it will have experienced the same amount of wear. It's also a good opportunity to inspect the console lid latch and hinges for any signs of wear or damage.
