Genuine Nissan Heater Core (THICK) - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ 1987-1997

This genuine Nissan heater core is fitted deep inside the vehicle's dashboard within the heater box assembly. It acts as a small radiator, circulating hot engine coolant through its core. The vehicle's fan then blows air across the heated fins, transferring warmth into the cabin for your comfort and for defrosting the windscreen. A replacement is necessary when the original unit fails, commonly due to internal blockages from contaminants in the cooling system or external leaks caused by corrosion over time.

Note: The entire dashboard needs to be removed to replace the Heater Core.

*NOTE: There 2 different heater cores in a GQ, this is the thicker one (66mm). Please let us know what thickness your heater core is and supply us with a VIN before you order so we can make sure this is the correct one for you. As no returns will be given for incorrect choice
