Genuine Nissan Injector Pump Advance Plate RD28 - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ & Y61 GU

Genuine Nissan Injector Pump Advance Plate - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU RD28

This is the advance plate located inside the diesel injector pump on a Nissan Patrol Y61 GU fitted with the RD28 engine. The original plate is known to wear, which causes the internal rollers to develop grooves on the plate's surface. A worn plate will result in incorrect injection timing, leading to significant performance issues.

If your RD28 is hard to start (especially when hot), blowing excessive smoke, or feels down on power, a worn advance plate is a likely cause. Leaving it unresolved will lead to poor fuel economy and can make the vehicle unreliable.
