Genuine Nissan Key Reader - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU 01/07+

Genuine Nissan Key Reader - Patrol GU 1/2007 On

This Genuine Nissan Key Reader, also known as an immobiliser antenna coil, is located around the ignition barrel where you insert your key. It is a vital electronic component of the Nissan Anti-Theft System (NATS) that reads the transponder chip embedded in your vehicle's key. This part is required to verify that the correct key is being used, which then allows the engine control unit (ECU) to start the engine.

If your key reader is failing, you may experience intermittent starting problems or a complete inability to start your vehicle. The security light on your dashboard may flash, indicating a communication error between the key and the vehicle's immobiliser system.

You will need to program the Key Reader to your Chipped Key.
