Genuine Nissan RD28TI Glow Plug - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU

Genuine Nissan RD28TI Glow Plug - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU

This glow plug is fitted directly into the cylinder head of the RD28TI diesel engine. Its job is to pre-heat the combustion chamber, which is essential for starting your Patrol, especially from cold. Glow plugs are a consumable item and fail from carbon build-up and constant heating and cooling. A faulty glow plug will cause hard starting, rough idling when cold, and excessive white smoke from the exhaust. If left unchecked, a complete failure to start is likely. It is best practice to replace all six glow plugs at the same time for balanced performance.
