Genuine Nissan Windscreen Fastener Mould - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU

Genuine Nissan Windscreen Fastener Mould - Patrol Y61 GU

This genuine Nissan windscreen fastener is a crucial clip used to secure the outer windscreen moulding trim to the body of your vehicle. These fasteners are positioned around the perimeter of the windscreen, holding the exterior rubber or chrome trim firmly in place. This part is often needed during a windscreen replacement, or when the original clips have become brittle and broken due to age and sun exposure.

A missing or broken fastener can cause the windscreen moulding to lift, rattle, or flap at high speeds. If not addressed, the entire trim piece could detach from the vehicle while driving. This also allows water and debris to seep under the moulding, which can lead to rust developing in the windscreen frame, a far more costly repair.
