Patrolapart Glow Plug Rocker Cover Seal Set ZD30 - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU

Glow Plug Rocker Cover Seal Set - Nissan Patrol GU Y61 ZD30CR

This Glow Plug Rocker Cover Seal Set is located within the engine's rocker cover, creating a crucial seal around each of the four glow plugs. Over time, the original rubber seals are exposed to thousands of heat cycles, causing them to become hard, brittle, and cracked. For a Nissan Patrol owner, a reliable engine is paramount. Replacing these seals is essential maintenance to prevent oil leaks, which can compromise engine performance and reliability, especially when travelling in remote areas.

Ignoring failing glow plug seals will lead to engine oil leaking from the top of the rocker cover. This creates a messy engine bay and allows oil to pool around the injectors and drip onto hot exhaust components, posing a significant fire risk. A persistent oil leak can also lead to low engine oil levels, potentially causing catastrophic engine damage if left unchecked.

Does not suit Direct Injection or D22 Motors
