Genuine Nissan Nabtesco Clutch Master Cylinder - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU Japanese

Nabtesco Japanese Clutch Master Cylinder - Nissan Patrol GU Y61

This clutch master cylinder is located on the firewall in the engine bay and is directly connected to your clutch pedal. It is a vital component of the hydraulic clutch system in your manual transmission Nissan Patrol.

The clutch master cylinder converts the physical pressure from your foot on the clutch pedal into hydraulic pressure. This pressure is then used to engage the clutch slave cylinder, which disengages the clutch, allowing you to change gears. Over time, the internal seals can wear out, causing fluid to bypass the piston or leak externally. This leads to a loss of pressure and symptoms like a soft, spongy clutch pedal, difficulty shifting gears, or the pedal sinking to the floor.

These have an Aluminum Bore, with a steel piston- and Japanese Seals.
