Poly Air Exhaust Heat Shield - Nissan Patrol Y62 3" Exhaust

This is a custom-designed steel heat shield to suit the Nissan Patrol Y62. It is an essential upgrade for any Y62 fitted with Poly Air airbags and a larger 3.5-inch aftermarket exhaust. The shield installs on the driver side (RH) of the vehicle, fitting between the airbag and the exhaust pipe to create a strong thermal barrier. This protects the airbag from the intense radiant heat generated by a larger exhaust, which typically sits closer to chassis and suspension components.

Product Features

• Direct-Fit Design: Specifically engineered to suit the Y62 Patrol platform with a 3.5-inch exhaust, ensuring a straightforward and correct installation.
• Durable Construction: Made from quality steel to provide a robust thermal barrier that effectively reflects radiant heat and protects the airbag from road debris.
• Prevents Airbag Failure: Protects the Poly Air spring from heat damage that can cause it to degrade, melt, or burst under load. This prevents a sudden loss of air pressure, which compromises your vehicle's handling and load-carrying ability.
• Protects Your Investment: Ensures the reliability and extends the service life of your airbag suspension system, preventing a costly airbag replacement.
