Genuine Nissan Viscous Fan Hub Silicone Oil Fluid - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ & Y61 GU

Viscous Fan Hub Silicone Oil Fluid - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ & Y61 GU

This silicone oil is used to service the viscous fan hub mounted to the front of your engine's water pump. The fan hub is filled with this fluid, which allows it to engage and disengage the engine's cooling fan based on temperature. If the original fluid has leaked out or degraded, your fan will fail to lock up when needed, causing your engine to run hot. A non-functioning fan clutch is a common cause of overheating, particularly at low speeds or when the vehicle is under load, such as towing or four-wheel driving. Failure to address this can lead to serious and expensive engine damage.

Features & Benefits

• Restores fan clutch function, ensuring the fan engages correctly to cool the radiator.
• A cost-effective solution to repair a faulty fan hub instead of replacing the entire unit.
• Prevents engine overheating by maintaining correct fan speed relative to engine temperature.
• Quality silicone fluid designed to withstand high temperatures and provide long service life.

Vehicle Fitment

• Nissan Patrols with Viscous Hubs that can be disassembled, generally diesel models.

Please check vehicle fitment to confirm compatibility with your vehicle. Please contact us with your VIN details if you require further assistance to confirm fitment.
