This genuine Nissan injector lower gasket is fitted at the base of the fuel injector, creating a critical seal against the cylinder head. This washer is essential for containing combustion pressure within the cylinder. When injectors are serviced or replaced, these single-use gaskets must also be replaced to ensure a perfect seal.

If this copper washer is not replaced it can allow a leak between the cylinder and the injector which fills the injector tube with carbon and the injector ends up seized into the head
