Genuine Nissan Rear Outer Hub Lock Tab - Nissan Navara D22

This is the lock tab washer for the rear axle hub nut. It is located behind the large nut on the end of the axle housing that holds the hub and wheel bearings in place. These tabs are bent over the nut to stop it from coming undone. They are a single-use item and should be replaced every time the hub nut is removed, such as when servicing wheel bearings or axle seals. Reusing an old tab can cause it to break from metal fatigue.

If this tab fails or is not replaced, the rear hub nut can work its way loose.
