This is a Genuine Nissan Boost Control Valve.

This solenoid talks to the Engine ECU and control the Boost pressure required by the Variable vane turbo.

It is Common for these to fail, However it is also common for issues with these cars to be incorrectly diagnosed, so please get your problme diagnosed by someone who knows what they are dealing with before you start purchasing parts, as new parts will not be accepted for returns once they have been fitted.
