This will Also suit Series 1 models, However you will require our Extended breather kit available separately in our online store, as these later model solenoids don't come with the fitted filters, the fitted filters get dust and mud and water in them as they are fitted low on the engine and give quite a lot of trouble- hence the update to a remote filter on the later models.
Most of the issues with these solenoids are caused by mud getting in the filter fitted to the early solenoids, this extended breather kit is designed to eliminate this issue.
This is a Pierburg Branded Boost Control Valve, designed to meet manufacture specs.
This solenoid talks to the Engine ECU and control the Boost pressure required by the Variable vane turbo.
It is Common for these to fail, however it is also common for issues with these cars to be incorrectly diagnosed, so please get your problem diagnosed by someone who knows what they are dealing with before you start purchasing parts, as new parts will not be accepted for returns once they have been fitted.
